Or, Wingels saw it coming and moved out of the way as best he could.

It was absolutely intentional.  He even left his feet to line his butt up with Wingels' head.

I feel like we saw very different plays.

Who cares. He elbowed Marner and got what he deserved. Too bad.

This is an idiotic attitude.  Wingels was possibly inches away from career or even life threatening injury.  That kind of nonsense has no place in the game.

AA is on point. Don?t let that missed elbow blind you to the headhunting that has no place in any sport.

Yeah that's pretty clearly an attempt to injure. Hate to say it because I thought Wingels had a pretty cheap shot on Marner moments before. Kadri is definitely going to miss a game or two.

Leivo and Moore should play ahead of Komarov and Plekanec. Not a knee jerk reaction - Plekanec has been god awful playing with anyone not named Johnsson.

Plekanec has been useless... Honestly, I'd be bringing Moore back in to center the 4th line, Kapanen and Johnnson his wingers.

I would unleash Martin, sit Plekanec and move Komarov to centre on the 4th
Martin and Komarov on the 4th line? So you want the Leafs to only roll 3 lines next game?

Watch just before the hit - he shifts his hip/butt towards the head.

He has a good view of the situation and a decent amount of time leading up to the hit.

Wasn't anywhere near his head, he hit him on the numbers, just like Chara hit Marner, but entirely unlike how Wingles sent his elbow straight into Marners face. Kadri has my full support.

You clearly need to watch it again if you think it was nowhere near his head.

And the elbow on Marner does not excuse what Kadri did.  Two wrongs don't make a right.

I can watch it all night if you want. One question: did he hit him on the numbers, yes or no?

I'll take that as a yes. I rest my case.

Get over it already.

1. The ass is a sufficiently large object such that the numbers and head can both be close to the point of contact.

2. Wingels turns and ducks away to, SHOCKER, protect his head.

If you can't figure this out for yourself, then I'm not gonna hand-hold you through it.
