You clearly need to watch it again if you think it was nowhere near his head.
And the elbow on Marner does not excuse what Kadri did. Two wrongs don't make a right.
I can watch it all night if you want. One question: did he hit him on the numbers, yes or no?

Let me guess, yer 14 and have no concept of care or concern for others?
AvroArrow said:Oracle said:I'll take that as a yes. I rest my case.
1. The ass is a sufficiently large object such that the numbers and head can both be close to the point of contact.
2. Wingels turns and ducks away to, SHOCKER, protect his head.
If you can't figure this out for yourself, then I'm not gonna hand-hold you through it.

We can thank the Refs. for this type of game. Kadri gets hit from behind...nothing, Marner gets double teamed with an elbow to the chin to top it off...still nothing. Boston gets to hit anyone, the Refs decided the Leafs should just sit and take it.

Amen brother.
puckinthehead said:What about the concern for Marner's head? How many of those elbows is he supposed to eat before he becomes another statistic?

Both your points are correct, but immaterial. Did Kadri hit him on the numbers, yes or no?
I'm glad he did something to stand up for Marner. If it was 2-1, I wouldn't but the game was done.AvroArrow said:puckinthehead said:What about the concern for Marner's head? How many of those elbows is he supposed to eat before he becomes another statistic?
I already said that should have been called. Nobody, LITERALLY nobody has said anything to the contrary about the elbow.
It STILL doesn't excuse Kadri.

In what universe are they immaterial?
Yes, he got him in the numbers. He still intentionally targeted his head. But, as per the very material point 2, Wingels' moved. They aren't mutually exclusive.

puckinthehead said:Maybe you could *also* throw a little heat towards their players instead of solely focusing on Kadri. Hits from behind, elbow to the chin. If their player wasn't falling the hit would've been nothing out of the ordinary.
God shut up. You have no idea what Kadri was thinking. Payback's a bitch. Be happy your Bruins won. So done with you.AvroArrow said:puckinthehead said:Maybe you could *also* throw a little heat towards their players instead of solely focusing on Kadri. Hits from behind, elbow to the chin. I'm especially targeting Kadri because it was intent to injure - that crap is unacceptable.

Called it with Kadri?s childish play, grow up. You know Boston is coming and you reacted like a child. Exactly what they wanted.cabber24 said:I think BOS will be taking liberties with our kids and my hope is that we're able to not retaliate and to not let it get to us. Put your head down and kill them with your speed and skill. I am worried about Kadri having a fit. I am not convinced he can keep his cool. No flopping or embellishments just take it and move on and stick to our game.
