Leafs @ Lightning - Mar. 5th, 7:30pm - SNO, TSN 1050

Just tried to watch the game but had to turn it off. It's bad enough the team sucks but having to listen to Millen and Romanuk talk is torture. I feel like it's a skit from SNL, the one with Molly Shannon on NPR.

So many awkward pauses and bad jokes...at times it is just them breathing into the mic!

I made the GDT and participated in the thread in the morning/afternoon and I STILL forgot that there was a game tonight.

I started reading an article and got through two sentences and couldn't finish it.  I can't stomach the Leafs.

Is it just me or is Phaneuf shooting the puck a lot more since coming back from injury?  I haven't checked the stats to see if that's true but it seems like it.

14 shots in 5 games since coming back
98 shots in 53 games on the season

Mind you in the games with Carlyle Phaneuf put up 68 shots in 40 games and has put up 30 shots in 13 games since Horachek took over.  So I don't know how much of it is Phaneuf coming back from injury so much as Horachek approaching the game differently.

Thanks.  Plus him being on the right side since coming back has afforded him more one-timer opportunities.  A top PP of Gardiner/Rielly feeding Phaneuf for one-timers wouldn't be the worst.
