I know this is well past beating a dead horse but how could anyone argue with this game ending in a tie?

Ties make me angry and confused.  If two teams played, who won?  I don't understand.

Pretty cool seeing Hornqvist go over to Bernier at the end there. He definitely saved his best game of the year for last.

That was nice. I think he jokingly called him a ***hole. He did play an amazing game. It was marliesque.

After going 0/12 on the breakaway during the game they go 2/2 in the shootout.

Bernier was absurd after the Crosby goal.  Bernier certainly deserved a win for his play.

I never minded them, especially if the game was well fought.

October: 1-7-2, 4 points, .200 PT%
November: 7-4-3, 17 points, .607 PT%
December: 6-4-2, 14 points, .583 PT%

For the last two months the Leafs have played at a .596 PT% pace.  That would be a 98 point season.

Hard to argue Babcock isn't getting more out of this team than their skill level would indicate, even if they are still near the bottom of the standings.

Problem is, I've never turned the tv off during a 3 on 3 or a shootout, even if it's Columbus vs New Jersey. Its entertainment.

Thank goodness for that Oct and Bernier 1.0. That dug us a nice hole.

Well the result isn't decided yet so it would make sense if you've watched to that point you wouldn't turn it off that close to the end.

Did you turn off the TV when the game was tied?

Although a traditionalist I do like the 3 on 3.  But if that ends with no score, I am happy to go back to ties.  Shootouts were a terrible idea and still are.

Yes, after the Leafs play, I'll flip around the feeds based upon what's happening in the games. If there's a shootout or a 3-3, I'll generally get sucked in.

I'd be fine with that too. It was the 4-4 and 3-3 that I really enjoy. Especially when there's teams from different conferences.

Sure, but if it's a tie game with a few minutes to go I'll probably watch that too.
