It's mind boggling that even by accident a goal or two hasn't gone in lately.

Hard to figure especially after being one of the highest scoring teams. One would think you might see a decrease with playing a more defensive game but wow.

Something along the lines of "no one puts baby in the corner" with making the Leafs play defence comes to mind.

OK.  So.  You're Brendan Shanahan.  You've got a week of no games.  Plenty of time to stew think.  Why not get rid of your inherited GM, and take the helm until the season is done (assuming your preferred candidate isn't available now)?  Is there a downside to this?

Give Fletcher the keys to the re-tool already!

Seriously I don't know. If Nonis isn't he guy for the job, I'd imagine it's best just to get rig of him.

Not sure who'd move Franson and whoever else is on the way out though....

How can Nonis possily be the guy? He had the chequebook, and brought in some of these stiffs. He certainly re-upped el Capitan at 7 for 7... nuff said

I don't disagree, but why is he still in the job?

Can we send Nylander back to Sweden in case he gets infected during his time in Toronto

That goes in 99 times out of 100. Wow.

It's ridiculous. I don't even know what you can do. They're bang-bang plays you can't really "bear down" or whatever. If the puck hops it hops. It's crazy.
