How was that a no call?

On the other hand, getting shoved should not send you flying.  Kessel has toughen up in the defensive end and put a little effort into something that isn't an offensive rush.

When you don't expect it is is.  You see it all the time.

They make that call all year tho... all year

That bloody Carlyle, telling his players not to skate, turn the puck over, take horrible penalties I mean, come on!!!

You're smarter than this.  Some of the players obviously are discontent with Carlye and his style.  That has an impact on performance.

I see a tired team. I don't know where you're getting the 'obvious discontent' from, that's new to me.

Grabvoski and MacArthur had plenty of discontent when they left.  Clarkson has mentioned not scoring because of a defensive role.  Seems pretty frequent.

I'm not sure Clarkson has a leg to stand on for anything but his own piss poor play. Players that are not playing in Toronto don't concern me when it comes to that comment either.

I have criticisms of Carlyle, don't get me wrong, but it's a two way street, when the players play like crap I'm not sure how you blame anyone else.

Tigger, you have a point.  It's not all on Carlyle (where is the first line lately?) but he does have something to do with their consistent underperformance.

Sure, and I'm being intentionally one way here today, the team needs to play better and Carlyle needs to make some better decisions too.

It's not really a two-way street.  In reality it should be.  But in pro sports, the coach gets blamed and fired before anyone else.

Think of it from Nonis' perspective, he just inked Clarkson and wants to see him score.  Clarkson has stunk, but what has Carlye done to get him going?

Meh.  To me it looked like he was standing still, and so a little push was enough to send him flying.  If he's more aware of his surroundings he doesn't get taken out of the play like that, penalty or not.

He was playing it the way all wingers play it?  He moved towards the boards as the play looked like it was coming up the boards and before the puck was there Kulikov hit him from behind.  How are you supposed to prepare for that?  It wasn't even a little tap, I just watched it again on GCL, he gave him a good shot.  He wasn't "standing still" any more than any other winger who goes to set up for the puck coming up the boards.  He was just blindsided in a defenseless position.

Umm...lots of ice time on scoring lines and 2nd unit PP time as well. Clarkson has been given LOTS of opportunities to show himself in an offensive capacity. I have a lot of criticisms of Carlyle but I'm not going to blame him for Clarkson's failures.
