R1G3: Bruins @ Leafs - May 6th, 7:00pm - CBC, TSN 1050

I'm enjoying this opening by the CBC.

The Gilmour behind the net.  Sundin scoring against Carolina (that radio call was something else).  Playoff hockey back in Toronto!

Well everyone all we can hope for is a good effort. Hope they come out hard. CBC crew figures might be some pressure playing at home. I don't think so. I feel the win the other night is going to go a long way for tonight and the rest of the series. Are we going to take the series. I don't know but I certainly hope so. Like I say a good effort and that goes a long way to a good outcome. Enjoy the game everyone. Sure everyone in TO is crazy. Good to see playoff hockey back there for the folks. Go get em boys.

What they did last game, that they did to much success back when they would play the Sens every year, is take Chara down by commitee, every single player finished their checks on the big man, with Frattin, Komarov and Orr being especially effective in that regard.

He has a vicious temper, look for it to get the better of him in the form of minor penalties and for him to begin to wear down physically if they keep it up.

I didn't really think that we took Chara down though. He still played really good. We just capitalized on our chances when he wasn't on the ice.

Chara wouldn't be a perennial Norris trophy candidate if all other teams had to do was forecheck hard on him to make him ineffective. Orr can bounce into him all night long if he wants.

Orr knocking him down did something.  I've noticed it a few times in Boston games where he seems to get his game thrown off when he actually gets knocked down.  I think it puts a little bit of doubt in his mind regarding his physical advantage.

That scene of the square full of Blue and White is pretty cool.  And I would like to point out how loud the crowd is right now.  The ACC isn't great in the regular season for noise depending on the game, but postseason is a whole different atmosphere.

OK, bring it on, I have slept last 5 hours, woke up at 1 am and I am ready. GO LEAFS GO.

That's dedication my man. You are in Czech Republic right?

I've an appointment with my shoulder guy in the morning at 9am. It's currently 00.19. I'd really appreciate no OT tonight...

The Leafs seem to be a little bit nervous, but following the blueprint from game 2, a goal would get them going.
