Don't think we should be expecting him back any game now but this is still pretty insane considering how scary the situation initially looked.

As someone who has had concussions myself, this seems standard protocol.  Once symptoms start to fade (which is the hard part - my first only lasted 1 week, but my second lasted nearly 3 months), then you start ramping up activity starting with a 15 minute "low impact" workout, like riding a stationary bike or skating around with no contact.  If that's good and you're symptom free, you keep adding 5 minutes each day until you reach 30 min.  Then you resume normal practices, etc, and if still symptom free, then he would be cleared to play.

I don't know how he fared today, but if it went well, my guess it he could be back in the lineup in about 10-14 days.

I love Keefe and think he has done a great job
I agree with pretty much all his decisions and I love the way he manages the bench and gets the most out of his bottom 6 etc...

But how in God's name can you put Sandin in over Dermott?
No way Sandin should have dressed over him.  The only reason is for the PP but honestly we have other guys that can do it as good as him.

Dermott is older, stronger, more experienced and way way more reliable.
Dermott played 51 games this year and Sandin 9

I don't understand it, I really don't
I hope it doesn't cost us the series.

I haven't given up on Sandin he is still young and still may have a bright future, but right now is not the time to experiment.

Keefe I have agreed pretty much all your other moves.  Just hope a change is made for Saturday

I predict you'll see Dermott in.  Any forwards switch will depend if Foligno is healthy enough to go or not. Maybe he'll switch in Riley Nash for Brooks.

I think the fact he made the game last night  says he wasn't effected. They'll pick up the pace a little(if his knee can handle it) and go from there.

To be clear, these are resellers. Insane.

How many did you pick up?

Here's a question, what would you guys spend to get a good seat for game 7 of Cup finals if the Leafs were in it and the game is at Scotia?

I think I'd spend $1000 max.

I don't think that would get you a standing room only ticket to game 7 of a cup final.

Oh I agree, I'm just saying that seeing the game live vs. in a good pub is worth about 1000 more to me.

I was overthinking the loss and came up with some lineup changes:

Hyman - Matthews - Nylander
Spezza - Kerfoot - Marner
Foligno - Envgall - Mikheyev
Simmonds/Galchenyuk - Nash - Thornton/Galchenyuk

On D if Muzzin is off that is a big shoe to fill.

Bump Bogozian up and limit Dermott - Sundin minuts.

Campbell all the way.

Who's minutes is Bogo taking? He's right side . Muzz is left. I think Dermott will play with Holl and Sandin with Bogo.
As for forward lines. Get Hyman off the top line.
Foligno Matthews Marner
Galy Kerfoot Willy
Mikheyev Engvall Hyman
Old man line.

I disagree with the old man line.

Spezza has the most points/60 in the entire Leafs team. He needs to be bumped up on the lineup

So put him with M&M as long as it gets Hyman off line 1.

Not cursed, they don't feel the urgency to do what it takes to win in the playoffs.  Even if they win tomorrow I think they have already made that clear.  It's not that they lost the last 2 games; in the playoffs any team can get upset.  It's the way they lost: coming out and having their asses handed to them in the 1st period so that there was never any inkling of them going in for the kill.  Marner's lame comments have that inadequacy written all over them.  He wants to sort of take responsibility for his part in that (he's by no means the "problem" in this series BTW) but it comes across as less than urgent.  They don't have what it takes, mentally.  Disappointing when some of the core has been bounced for 4 years in a row going on 5.
