The Official TV Thread

Jimmy Smits is joining the cast of Sons of Anarchy, I hope he doesn't ruin it like he ruined season 3 of dexter.

This past Sunday's Eastbound & Down was one of the best of the series.  Was dying, but also had some rare poignancy.

Series finale on Sunday.

I've watched some of it here and there but I thought it just returned after being canned?  Didnt they have 2 seasons, cancelled, then return?  Now the series finale?

I'm not sure if it was ever cancelled, they just took a long break between season 2 and 3.  But yeah, apparently the plan was for season 3 to be its last.

In typical fashion, Fringe just took a wacky turn... jumped 24 years in the future with the Observers having taken control? Um, what?

Yeah, that was random . . . and, what appears to be a one-off type episode/set up for future seasons/movies, if they happen.

Yeah. It almost seemed like they were just flexing their muscles, wondered if it had anything to do with trying to get the ink on a season 5 contract.

That was an amazing episode, I loved it!

Good news! Fox announced yesterday that Fringe will be getting a 13 episode, 5th (and final) season. As much as I would have enjoyed the show running longer, at least this way they get to actually create a true ending.

Nice to know the show won't end on some unresolved cliff hanger!  :)

I have to ask, out of all the 4 years of episodes so far, I  am perplexed and I am not sure if that was a deliberate ending tonight:To cut the universe chord, but not tell us if it fixed the earthquake issues? Or is that not relevant in the grand scheme of things?

Old news for most but I'm going to try to make my way through all of ESPN's 30 for 30. I just watched ep. 1 "King's Ransom" on the Gretzky trade. For anyone who hasn't seen it, I found it to be very, VERY good. A lot of stuff there I didn't know.
