The Official TV Thread

Other than an episode or two, I've never watched Family Guy or Futurama. So, if I'm about to start..... which do I watch first?

I also have access to Rick and Morty (my friend added me to her "family"). Does that change things?

I enjoy Archer, Big Mouth, and of course the Simpsons and King of the Hill.

It'd be a coin flip for me between Futurama and Rick and Morty. With Futurama there's a lot of stuff to get through and some of the later post-Fox seasons are of pretty uneven quality while Rick and Morty is obviously more  zeitgeisty. I don't think you can go wrong either way.

I decided to start with Rick and Morty (going to save Futurama for evenings). I'm on season one, episode 5, which has Mr Meeseeks. I am dying. F'ing hilarious.

I finally started watching it?s always sunny in Philadelphia. How did I let this show get away from me for this long?

My wife and I started watching that few months ago. It's our go-to for when we don't feel like finding something to watch. It's great.

I like Mr. Poopy Butthole [emoji23]

I think it was the first episode of Interdimensional Cable and specifically Ants in My Eyes Johnson that let me know R&M was a show for me. That and the speech Werner Herzog makes as a guest. "It's funny to say they are small, it's funny to say they are big..."

Another big time recommendation I'd make is Reservation Dogs. I'm only about halfway through the season but already it's pretty clear this is unlike just about anything else out there and is, at times, very very funny as well as poignant.
