Thole, LaRoche called up, Blanco DFA by #BlueJays

But...Dickey just had his best outing...why get rid of his personal catcher now?

Good so the Blanco thing is over and done with. maybe he becomes a coach.
Not a big deal. Thole was Dickey's personal catcher the last 2 seasons in New York.

Thole can actually hit a little bit though.  Blanco couldn't hit, period.

I read on Twitter that Wang can't strike guys out like he used to, but has had excellent command.

Well, that's not terrible, considering that he was never able to strike anyone out to begin with.

I screwed that up from memory, this is what I actually read, from the Yankees GM:

He's not the power sinker he used to be

And Liam McGuire from CanadianBaseballNetwork reiterated the low SO's but added he has fabulous control.

Moving on.

That was a crazy game. I guess Janssen picked a bad time for his first blown save - the bullpen had to eat up nine more innings!

Jose, Jose, Jose....

*shakes finger*

Another horrid loss last night... trailing by one in the top of the 8th with runners on the corner and one out, Rasmus is up (nope not a strikeout this time),it appears the pitcher is not going to throw anything hittable and is content loading the bases and going for a double play, Rasmus swings at pitch away and grounds out to the pitcher and no was scores, next better leaves the runners stranded.

Bottom of the eighth 2 errors and 3 runs...

They just plain suck. It`s not a good team playing bad, they suck.

Arencibia's last two at bats: runner on third one out and both time he strikes out, both times! This team is terrible.

Bottom of same inning the Sox's score 4... so instead of scoring a run and building some momentum they crap the bed, deflating the team and fall apart... again.... and again.... and ........... again.

Before the season started when we all thought the Jays were world-beaters I jokingly said to a friend "I'm heading out of the country for 5 weeks during the summer so I have an escape route in case things go bad."

Little did I know my words would end up being true. Perhaps 5 weeks without Jays baseball will be good for me.

Top of the 8th runners on the corners, ZERO out, Arencibia STRIKES OUT AGAIN, god damn pitch was on the ground, full count! Promptly follow by double play and ZERO runs scored! All JPA needed to do was put the F-ing thing in play, the SOX's would of taken the double play and tie game. For a friggin catcher this guy cannot see s%#t at the plate.

I have no idea why a subject myself to this garbage.

Yeah and he swung and missed at 3 balls. That last swing-and-a-miss to strike out was in the dirt. Three times he's been up with a runner on third and three times he's struck out.

It's frustrating to think of how good JPA would be if he cleaned up his game and became a more disciplined hitter. At this point it's getting sad.

I HATE this team. They need to shake this thing up... fire Gibby... make a trade... anything.
