We would have to poach him from the Jets coaching bench

I think it's kind of the standard answer regardless of time frame. I haven't heard the Leafs announce anything yet in regards to what is broken.CarltonTheBear said:https://twitter.com/kristen_shilton/status/1364274049090801665
Hmmm this doesn't sound like something they'd say about a player who's only going to miss a handful of games. Hope I'm wrong about that.
I think Engvall is going to be a fixture as the 3rd line C. I think Kerfoot stays where he is for now with JT until Galchenyuk is ready to go.CarltonTheBear said:https://twitter.com/kristen_shilton/status/1364277904553750528
Small sample size here (he's only taken 37 face-offs this season) but his win percentage is 51.4%, up from 39.1% in 105 face-offs last season.

Agree. I think it's obvious that Kerfoot is much better at LW. Engvall has the skills to be a good center if given a run there I think.Guilt Trip said:I think Engvall is going to be a fixture as the 3rd line C. I don't have an issue with Kerfoot at centre but he really seems to fly on the wing. His weakness is in the faceoff dot which strangely enough is worse then last year. Matthews too.Chris said:Agree. Galchenyuk...I'm not holding out much hope for him but maybe he can push Vesey out of the lineup, at least until Robertson is ready (which may not be this year).
