How long before Ritchie clears waivers, man I hope someone picks him up.

We'll find out at 2:00

I've never been more excited for a waiver wire deadline.
Haha...too funny....I think you might be disappointment...

It?s kind of a win-win though. He clears you can send him down and save some cap space and worst case you?ve got a body for the playoffs. You can?t tell me that he contributes less than Clifford would.

No surprise he cleared. Players with term remaining that aren't earning around the league minimum virtually always clear.

I actually like the Kerfoot/Matthews chemistry that we haven?t seen much of yet.

One thing that waivers might do is reset those players that think they have value and just think the coach isn't being fair to them or whatever...you just got passed over by the entire league when it would cost them basically zero to acquire you.

I don't think Ritchie thought that. Or has any thoughts, really.

I don?t get what Clifford brings to the table other than 8 mins of wasted ice time.

More than Ritchie does in 10 minutes, at least based off what we've seen so far this season. I thought Clifford played fine in the games he was in.

This is a good point.  They need Ritchie to contribute.  Now he's got yet another chance with Marner & Engvall out.  He looked a little better before the holiday shutdown.

I agree. I think he will be useful in the playoffs should he be needed.
