He said in one of those fashion interviews that he really admired Russell Westbrook, both in terms of dress sense and in terms of attitude, so I think we can expect a fair bit of self-confidence and individuality from Matthews going forward. I think it's endearing anyway.
And I wonder re: Lamoriello if it's maybe the other way around. While I wouldn't attribute it directly I wonder if realizing that some guys on the team weren't really a good fit for Lamoriello's outdated rules maybe helped grease the skids.
