Any cap saving is nice but the 190K or so savings doesn't really move the dial much.  If we are 190K within the cap we aren't sitting in a good position next year.

This is a little nuts...these are SPC's and they come down to an AAV.

There's no momentum, it's not like they're talking about hours, office furniture, how many assistants, and holidays, and what kind of company car here.  The only negotiable once they've decided on a number is how much of it is salary vs. signing bonus.  Maybe a standard NTC can be bandied about, but really there isn't much to discuss here.

Once Tavares had told Toronto that they wanted to talk contract, the deal was done in a matter of hours.
