Finally! Season Opener Leafs at Habs - Saturday - CBC 7:00 PM

[lc9]

Brown with a fight vs Prust, looks like Prust wanted that one.

[Bullfrog]

Sucks for McClement. Finally gets on the ice and a fight 5 seconds into it ends that pretty quick.

[Coderaspberry]

What an oddly timed commercial featuring Subban.

Imagine how Steckel must feel ...

[mr10am]

anyone here boycotting the NHL as a result of the lockout?

[ZBBM]

Kostka, who I admit I never heard of until this week, looks pretty decent so far.

[CarltonTheBear]

Kaberle shot haha

[Rebel_1812]

nice one from kadri. Waiving Connolly so Kadri could play was a great move.

Lockout shmockout.

[drummond]

Lups what a chance

[CarltonTheBear]

The top line has looked great since the powerplays.

[Derk]

Garbo getting knocked around pretty good out there.

I hope that means a three point night.

[lc9]

Leafs look quick to the puck.

[BlueWhiteBlood]

Carey Price is seeing some heavy shots here in this first period...

[Bullfrog]

And there's the first instance of my biggest pet peeve: the phrase "compete level."

Why not?: "he likes his competitiveness" or "he likes how hard he competes"

[Kaberle15]

We rule man!

I missed that so much!

[Derk]

Don't know how Komi avoided a penalty there.

Lockout shmockout.

would you say the same thing when the next lockout happens?

[Derk]

Oh, he was on the ice and Komi went over top.

[Rebel_1812]

they don't call the habs nonstop hooking of lupul and kessel but they call a hand pass?
