Game 2: Sabres at Leafs - Sportsnet 7:00 PM

I get sticking up for the goalie but cross-checking the back of the head with no helmet is too far I'm pretty sure...

Edit: refs getting this now at least

Just so we are clear.  Kessel hits Miller and then Kaletta jumps on him from behind and punches him.  What exactly is really all that different between that and what Bertuzzi does to Moore other than the fact that Moore's neck broke.

This is a completely different team at the ACC, such low energy.

The crowd is in their usual coma but the Leafs haven't give them anything to cheer about other than the Orr scrap.

Other than handily outchancing the other team.

Yeah, like you said this game has been all Toronto. Miller's kept them in this game long enough for a little luck to put them on top.

Well, Bertuzzi slammed Moore's head down onto the ice which is probably what broke his neck.

Can't wait to play a team that doesn't have a top-notch goalie.

Good teams beat good goalies.  That is just how it works.

I am sure the fans would come out of a coma for a good hockey team, but I also believe the fans can be the difference in how a team plays.  If the new owners really cared about the team winning then they would find a way to change the clientele at the games, because currently it is embarrassment.

If Kaleta isn't a steaming pile of blood and ripped jersey by the end of the game, then the whole point of having Orr and Brown in the lineup is wasted.

It would be better if the crowd was more into it, I agree, but I'm not going to blame anything on the fans.

And good goalies stop good teams all the time too.

The Leafs refuse to bury the puck.  Miller has played well, but a lot of shots have been right into him while much of the net is wide open.
