Game 2: Sabres at Leafs - Sportsnet 7:00 PM

Too busy watching the game to comb over the boards.

Meanwhile, I've got the game in the PIP and have switched over to a show that seems to be the guy from Lord of the Rings teasing poisonous snakes.

The Leafs aren't playing half bad. The first goal was a lucky bounce. The do need more bodies in front of the net though.

It goes like this. Kessel runs over Miller. Kaleta punches Kessel. Someone punches Kaleta. Justice served.

I just don't buy that punching the guy who bowls over your goalie, regardless of who it is, constitutes a bad act that calls for retribution.

Ok, thats fine, but in the world of made up on ice justice, you don't punch star players and get away with it.

Yeah, I just don't think that's true in this case.

Why are you arguing the minutia of a play that amounted to very little?

Why do you care?

At least Scrivens has looked calmer this game

They aren't playing a bad game IMO. Its unfortunate they haven't been able to put one past miller. Again, they probably need to screen him a bit better.

Y'know, Buffalo is a team that, with a key addition or two, could be a playoff darkhorse.  I like their makeup.  They need a little offense from the blueline, though.

Is it not a valid question?

I can't agree here.  On ice justice should always be served if a star player gets punched in the head from behind regardless of prior transgressions.  Not that I agree with it, but that is how the exchange goes.
