Game 59 Sat Feb 18/2012 Leafs at Canucks 7 pm CBC, am640

Great play by MacArthur there to set that up...oh he plays for the Leafs, whoops.

And can't really blame Reimer on that one, but make a big save once in a while?

Yeah, you can.  He's playing deep in the crease and leaving half the net wide open for the shooter.  You can't blame the second Burrows goal because he had forever to pick a corner, but that was a shot that Reimer should have taken away.  It wasn't a picked corner, it was Reimer sitting deep in the crease and not taking away the angle.

And now Gus gets stuck killing a penalty right after getting into the game.  Enough for him to give up a goal and give Wilson another weak excuse to not start him.

That was embarrassing.  Waive Lombardi and bring one of Frattin/Colborne/Kadri back up.  Gus was too deep on that play.

It's not exact, but the team has really not fared well since Liles and Armstrong came back into the lineup.

He really shouldn't have still been in net for that goal but someone was standing behind the bench with his head buried...

Lombardi have a seat at the end of the bench with MacArthur...horrible

Lombardi and MacArthur were bribed by the Canucks prior to the game, only reasonable explanation.

And yeah talk about being thrown to the wolves, poor Gus.

On the bright side if we do make the playoffs we'll be spared by only having to watch 4 games like this.

The more they focus on Wilson and Burke the more I get annoyed. The more I see Ron still behind the bench the more I'd rather see both of them gone and Nonis running the show.

I think it all pretty much stems from goaltending. The Leafs are at their best when they are on the attack, using their speed. Lack of confidence in their goaltending is going to cause them to play much more cautiously because they are afraid to give up goals.

This team has a lot of problems and more passengers than a 747, but goaltending is the primary issue. It's terrible, and it causes the rest of the team to be terrible.

A big top 6 and a top notch goalie would be a great start for this team.  We have a truck load of minor league goalies and if BB dosn?t see that....why bother.

If Gus doesn't let in another goal tonight I'm gonna be effin pissed. Reims should never have startedb this game.

RW owes me a refund.

There aren't a whole lot of goalies that wouldn't be struggling behind this team and their complete inability to get the puck out of their own zone.

I beg to differ.  We are playing run and gun hockey with a team who loves run and gun and has nine players on their top 3 lines that completely outmatch our top 3 lines skill wise. It really really is time for a coaching change.
