This is akin to when you see a hot blonde at the bar and you're so focused on what you're going to say to her that you end up hitting on the guy next to her instead.

We don't even really know the dressing room dynamic of these teams.
...alright?
I'm just sayin'...leadership qualities aren't really something that we can quantify here, and it's difficult to form a proper argument one way or another without knowing the players.
No, I gotcha, I suppose I just didn't see how it connected to the goaltending conundrum. Unless, I mean, are you talking about Carlyle?
I'm guessing he meant that for the Alternate Captains thread.
Seriously, Frank, pay attention. Get your head out of your arse.

For now. I am hopeful that Reimer will regain his form.Significantly Insignificant said:So the conundrum is back right?

yes, for now he's the best we've got. I would much rather have him than trade away our prospects for Luongo.Strangelove said:sickbeast said:For now. I am hopeful that Reimer will regain his form.Significantly Insignificant said:So the conundrum is back right?
The form he had for a couple of months one year?
I don't really get the high expectations with him. It's fine to be hopeful I guess, and he may be the best we have right now, but I can't see any reason to believe he'll be very good.

Better than Scrivens?? How so? If your referring to the let down game on Long Island, a game that he looked solid in for the first half and then the whole team packed it in for the second half then please don't. Leaf exhaustion, crazy travel, alternating home and away dates, bad bounces, a young team coming back down to earth whatever it is, I don't get my panties in a knot for that isolated performance. Let's see how it all unfolds from here on out. I still send Scrivens out for the bulk of the games at this point in the season. Reimer has to earn my trust back and I ease him into the picture, much like RC has done and hopefully will continue to do.

No offense, but have you watched the two goalies this year?Scrivens looked bad last game. So did the team, but once he let a few bad ones in, the team just deflated. Reimer looked pretty good for the most part against Pittsburgh. Tonight should be the litmus test for James. I'm pulling for him. Scrivens has already lost my support. Maybe he can turn it around, but I'm not counting on it. At this point I'd like to see Rynnas come up for a shot at backup.
