I thought that walking dead was more of the same, they spent pretty much the whole episode looking for the girl again and then there was about 1 minute of intrigue at the end with what Glenn found in the barn.

So little seems to actually happen on this show.

Maybe so but more "happened" in last nights episode than the past 2 put together....without anything really happening.

I don't know, I find the show to be coming together at a snails pace.  It's pretty remarkable actually considering all that happens in the comics and how quickly everything develops.  At the end of every issue was a real shocker, something that made you say to yourself, "ok, how can they top this?" yet they managed time and time again.

I know they can't replicate the comics issue by issue and Robert Kirkman said himself that looking back he would have done some things differently but I can't help but think that at the very least taking the pace of the comics (something 'big' happening everywhere they turned) would have made for a really suspenseful, intriguing series.

And FYI, the real payoff is when the Governor Philip arrives.  (which at this pace will be by season 12)

I haven't read the comics - I think that works in my favor. I plan on reading them but the more I hear the comparisons between the two I think I'll wait till the show has run its course.

I feel like if they went at the same pace as the comics, things would feel really rushed and unrealistic. Because there's a month between issues, you can get away with pushing the pace much more easily in a book than in a weekly TV series. The way time flows in a comic and on TV is different. The show could pick up the pace a little bit, but getting anywhere near the pace of the book would ruin it.

Well, looks like Community is more or less done. It's been put on hiatus and will be replaced by 30 rock at midseason. It's a shame as I thought it was a show that was pretty great at times but, I think, came to be bogged down by one-note characters i had little time for.

Well it sure was not the norm..entertaining but not fantastic but what do I know..I think The Big Bang Theory is one of the stupidest shows on TV..

I don't know, I look at NBC's Wednesday night comedies, and I see two that I don't expect to make it past March. I know Community hasn't received the best ratings, but, my guess is they've put it aside for midseason, because they know they're going to need something.

I'm disappointed.  I still like Community and what they are keeping instead of it is a pile of garbage.  Chelsea Handler getting another show about her life that will bomb.  And that god-awful Whitney show.

I liked Community quite a bit, the one I don't really get is Parks and Recreation.

Apart from the odd Ron Swanson line, I don't think its very funny. Amy Poheler's not very funny and I find Aziz Ansari annoying.

I know its popular though, I just don't get it.

I think they'll find a place to burn off some episodes, maybe even order some more to give it a proper finale. A renewal, though, would be pretty hard to fathom considering how terrible it's ratings have been.

Yea that sucks; I love Community. Although I guess after four season/years at the college, it would probably have to cease being "Community" anyhow.

I never really got Parks and Rec either and I've also never gotten into How I met your Mother, despite alot of praise I hear from critics, friends, etc.

But the one hit show I cannot stand is Big Bang Theory. It isnt funny, witty or even remotely entertaining.

I don't understand how Big Bang does so well in the ratings. I don't like it nor do I find it funny, and most people I know feel the same.

I do love Parks though. The characters are great.

Right now, The League and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia are my two favourite sitcoms, though I still have a soft spot for How I Met Your Mother.

One episode they were talking Klingon then the topic of sex came up and they were all awkward. Get it? Get it how funny and  clever the show is...

What the heck is with the Big Bang hate?

I love it!  Sheldon Cooper is probably one of the best characters on all of television.

I don't get the hate, either. While I wouldn't say Big Bang is the funniest show on TV, it's miles better than 90% of the sitcoms out there and is still very entertaining.

I have to agree with both of you... My only regret with the show is not watching it from the beginning.

I feel like it's Friends except with pretentious and verbose language and oddball nerds.
