By what metric? Because I?m not seeing it.
If you can't see that Mikheyev is better then Kerfoot, no stat will change you mind. I'm too old and too tired to try to post up stats that show just how valuable a guy like Mikheyev is because the chances of me convincing you of something different then what you can't see or think would clearly be a waste of time.Iafrate said:Well thank you for the discussion. It was insightful.

The main downside would be Matthews getting pissed you dealt his pal.

I think they have to keep him and hope he delivers the form that Dubas apparently thought was there when he signed him. It's not an ideal bet but it's probably as good as any of the alternatives.
I'll just spitball here and predict we see the return of Optimus as part of a tandem. And pray for Kallgren or Woll or somebody else to be ready to cover for Mrazek if need be (perhaps read: when need be).
Word is they?ve spoken to a variety of potential replacements, including those currently employed by other NHL organizations.
Sources say Curtis Sanford made a particularly strong impression.
He?s expected to join the Leafs organization after working the past five years for the Vancouver Canucks in goalie development.
