Finally! Season Opener Leafs at Habs - Saturday - CBC 7:00 PM

I had plenty of rum, but no coke to mix it with and I had plenty of 7-Up, but no whisky to go with it, so I had to go to the store and I bought some Crown Royal and some Coke Zero, wasn't sure where I was going to go with it. I eventually made the decision to go with the Crown/water/7-Up mix, up until the Leafs game starts. Then I switch to good ol' Canadian Light beer.

Tito's Handmade Vodka
Then I may make old-fashioneds with some CC

Traditional bourbon ones are lovely but have you tried one with with a nice aged rum? - Easily my favorite cocktail.

I'm not personally a fan of rum, so no.

This is how I feel as well.  I've never been able to conquer rum, it always has adverse effects on my taste buds.

If I am feeling froggy I may tap into the Crown or Jack.  Beer sounds good right now though.  Trying to decide when to crack the first one.

There's a bunch that are very whiskey-like and a bunch that are very cognac-like. Anyhoo, if you get your hands on  a good one, give 'er a whirl.

My shelf is full of rums that I'd murder someone for adding anything other that ice.... Anyway, that's the last I'll comment about rum tonight.

Watching PIT-PHI. Sure doesn't seem like most of these guys haven't played all season.

Aside from a few moments, like Byfuglien's sick top-shelf blast, the Sens/Jets game is a comedy of errors.

Yeah, I mean I don't think that has much to do with the lockout.

I have a whiskey shelf like this.

Also, I tried the Jack Daniels single barrel for the first time earlier this week, didn't really care for it.

any word on the Habs lines?

Pacioretty - Desharnais - Cole
Galchenyuk - Plekanec - Gionta
Moen - Eller - Bourque
Prust - White - Armstrong

Markov - Emelin
Kaberle - Gorges
Bouillon - Diaz

Price

At least we don't have to worry about the habs having a better line up.

Oh great they say we're going to hear alot about Subban tonight. Thanks guys in advance for obsessing over someone who isn't even playing.

Some Barking Squirrel beer tonight.

What is that? Never heard of that, or did I miss a joke?

We don't get a massive selection of craft beer in the Soo, but what we do get this is one of my favourites.

I like the colour of it! Does the Beer Store carry that? I may give it a try.
