Some Barking Squirrel beer tonight.

What is that? Never heard of that, or did I miss a joke?

We don't get a massive selection of craft beer in the Soo, but what we do get this is one of my favourites.

Can I pick it up anywhere in the sault?  Next time I head across the river I will have to pick some up.

I had plenty of rum, but no coke to mix it with

Pile of liquor options but no mix here either.  I'm tempted to order some food in (which I never do) just so I can get some mix with it.  :P

I'm having some watered-down orange juice and probably some hot chocolate later on.

Go Leafs go!

Go easy on that stuff eh.

I'll have some chips and maybe popcorn to balance it out. I'm not driving anywhere, so I should be fine.

I like the colour of it! Does the Beer Store carry that? I may give it a try.

I'm not sure if they do, they don't here.  I get it from the LCBO.

I believe you can get it from the LCBO in the Station Mall or the LCBO on Great Northern Road (I know for sure you can there).

I've had my share of good times with HNIC but do they have to jerk themselves like this?

Yep I think they've earned the right - 60 years after all. I've been watching for 45 minimum myself. Plus a little bit of propaganda when the CBC (and us taxpayers) have to open our wallets in 2014.

Perfect, next time I head to North 82 for a steak I will pick some up.

don't blame Montreal (did I just say that?) I think this was arranged by HNIC not the city of Montreal.......

No, I'm pretty sure this was arranged by the Habs as part of their Fanfest or whatever they're calling it. Either way, lame.

Agreed.  Even though I grew up in the states I was raised on HNIC and Bob Cole calling Leaf games.  We had 6 channels before satelitte dishes became common (I live in a place that still has no access to any cable besides a dish) and 3 of them were CTV, CBC and Global television.  I lived for Saturday night.

I am pumped as hell.

The NHL has the worst taste in music.

I'm pretty sure they go with "They're Canadian and relatively popular - let's go with them." Or, they go with Five For Fighting, because they have a hockey based name.

I think we're thinking the same thing. I thought the original poster was 'blaming' the city of Montreal. I realise now they meant Montreal the hockey 'team' not the city.....

Oh, I'd never blame the city for this (even though, they did produce Simple Plan).
