I don't remember Leetch "dashing" that playoff year.

I thought Leetch was terrific in his short time here.

Fantastic, 15 points in 15 games and BC Buds he had 8 points in 13 games that playoff year.  I remember him clicking very well with McCabe.

Geez, guess I was thinking of someone else.  Maybe Phil Housley?  Whoever it was had been a great player but was old and slow, and I think committed some egregious giveaway that sunk the Leafs that year.

I remember he made a bad pinch that cost the Leafs a back-breaker goal in the last game of the series that year. I don't even remember who the Leafs were playing.

It may have been a "good" pinch, in the sense that the Leafs were down and needed to create something...but I don't remember it that way.

Not a good pinch then.

Is it too much to ask for the Leafs to win 6 out of 10 again?  Haven't done that since the first stretch of 10 games.  That would go a long way into the helping the playoff chances.  I mapped out a possible route to 6-3-1.

So far following my script.  According to my Nostradamus-like predictions Leafs win tonight and lose in OT tomorrow.

I have a hunch we do much better, I think were in the early stages of a big win streak. just a hunch.

If we win tonight I'll have no problems drinking your kool aid nutman.  Unfortunately we have to travel to Winnipeg for a game tomorrow so the boys will be tired.  We'll see how it goes.

Really like the turnovers Leafs are creating in the neutral zone and attacking.

Quality of scoring chances has been really high lately.

In my opinion, he was easily out best defenseman while here.

I remember that team very well, and was happy when Brian Leetch became a Leaf.  Not only did he look at home wearing the Maple Leaf, but, he looked even better playing for them.  Nice memories.

Well, tonight's the night the Leafs need to prove me wrong.  I've got them down for an OT loss in my predictions.  Let's hope they win.

I think Leetch played well while he was here but I think he was still a bad fit for the team. Having Leetch here meant the Leafs had a top 3, and they were the only three defensemen getting 20+ minutes a night, of McCabe, Leetch and Kaberle. That's terrific offensively, as reflected in the point totals, but it did leave the Leafs a little vulnerable defensively which Philadelphia took advantage of.

I remember watching Leetch in a Leafs uniform and regretting not paying more attention to him when he was in his prime with the Rangers, he was that impressive on the downside of his career in Toronto.

I have them down for a drop-off game tonight. Which is fine as long as they beat the flyers on Thursday.
