Aberg does seem pretty intriguing to me.

I don't see where he fits into the line-up when we're healthy, but he's probably a perfect filler guy to step into the 3RW spot when any of Marner/Nylander/Kapanen are out of the line-up (and of course that might be the case to star the season).
That 4th line could do some serious damage against teams that ice an AHL-level 4th (like we did for much of last year).

One thing Babcock does like to do is get out the blender if the team isn't playing all that well on a given night. He's sure going to have plenty of options this year.

Apparently Matt Read has been signed to a PTO.

Hakstol has some familiarity with him, but I doubt that means much since Read's better seasons proceeded him. Probably just signed to have an extra veteran body around camp, while Read's hoping to use this as an opportunity to shine a bigger spotlight around him than he would get with a PTO in say Arizona.

They'd have to cut someone to actually give him a contract though since we're expecting Neuvirth to get contract 49 and Marner 50

Man Crohn's is rough. I have a friend with colitis and it's just awful.

I'm rooting for Gravel to stick with the Leafs while Dermott's out. He's got a pretty good story. Also he's not Harpur.
