Breaking up Lupul and Kessel is a horrible idea, but I understand why he's doing it. He's hoping to catch lightning in a bottle. A couple good shifts...maybe a goal from one or two of the long list of underachievers might spark them into greater production. Their lack of success isn't a chemistry issue. It's a confidence issue. Wilson knows that the lack of secondary scoring is killing our season and he's trying anything to get it going.
