Disappear in the playoffs? One of those teams made it within 2 wins of the finals. Only once did they finish 1st in their division, so not sure they would 'dominate' the regular season. IIRC they often had brutal injuries in the playoffs too (Sundin comes to mind). They were a very good team, a contender even, but hardly a sure thing and they hardly disappeared in the playoffs.
seems like you are confusing the sens in the early 2000's and the leafs in the early 2000's. The leafs of that era played better in the playoffs then they did in the regular season whereas the sens played better in the regular season then the playoffs.
Seems like you're confusing me with 93Forever.
Seems like you're confusing yourself. 93Forever said that the Sharks reminded them of the Senators in the early 2000's, that were great all year but not so much in the playoffs. Especially against the Leafs.
Then you switched that around to the Leafs being a team that were great in the playoffs but didn't do so well in the standings.......back then.......
.................which had nothing to do with the original point.
I'm confused but I don't REALLY care, either.
I am confused as well but you did summarize my sentiments and remove some of the confusion.
Thanks
