Game 27: Toronto @ Winnipeg - March 12th, 2013 @ 20:00 EST - LeafsTV/TSN Jets

They need to get it straightened out right away.  Things will turn on them pretty quickly if they lose on Thursday and as we have seen from this group, they will have trouble stopping the skid.

Painful to watch Kostka play tonight...

Not sure why we don't move someone to see what Gardiner can offer.

You are right, need to move Gardiner up asap... The Leafs need more defencemen to create offence. DUmp & chase game is not working  for the Leafs..

This was a game I fully expected the Leafs to win.  :-\

Yup. And now they could rather easily see themselves outside of the top-8 after Saturday night.

Is Burke going to "set the table" for that one too?

Orr and McLaren had more ice-time in the 3rd than Grabovski.

edit: And I don't mean combined either.

Message from RC to his players, now Thursday night he will turn around and roll out the same sad sack group out there all over again.

so on a positive note...kessel scored 2 and got into some rough stuff at one point.

if this guy can get going that should be a good thing!

Don't get me wrong, I think it was a nice strategy to start the season with a couple AHL players in the lineup who had the advantage of having already played half a season.

But let's get the NHL D-men back in the lineup. If not Gardiner then Liles at least.

The beginning of the end of good play for Reimer? Didn't see the game but he's good in spurts. Can't seem to put together a whole season.

this has really bugged me this season.  He's lights out until hes hurt and then it take FOREVER for him to return to form.  Last year it was a hit to the head...ok I get that but not this year, a phantom injury not even getting touched.

I'm more and more in the boat that we need an upgrade in goal badly!  I'd feel much better with a bernier and reimer/scrivens combo.

You can't really fault him on any of the goals, but I can't really think of any saves he made that were all that impressive either.

Your right but at the end of the day it is another game where 3 or 4 got past him and since coming back from the injury he looks like last season's Reimer.  We sit back and say it is the team in front of him which sure it is to an extent.  However, what it comes down to is pre-injury Reimer and Scrivens to date have made our d look good.

2 min 5 0n 3 and we take a timeout. ya - lets waste that and keep kadri on the bench for bozak ... im done with that... so tired... sundin - no winger! kessel - ya, im to tired to answer that one....................... so, so, tired! And now crosby in the best shape in years!!!  Ahh.

What an awful game.

Does anyone know why Jets fans boo Kessel and Phaneuf? I don't understand what kind of history they think they have with them.

Every time the Jets fans boo the star players of the other teams, I yell at the, " are you jealous you don't have players of that calibre?"

It is really annoying. I'm wearing a Bruins jersey to the next game if I can borrow my cousins B's jersey, if not, I'm wearing a Saskatchewan rough riders jersey!
